Prof. Vandana Baranwal BAMS, MD (Masters in Ayurveda), AD, founder of AyurveDatri, LLC, is a leading expert of Ayurveda specializing in women health. She has more than 30 years of experience involving various aspects of clinical, research, teaching and education in Ayurveda.

Before moving to USA, she was Professor in SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan, Karnataka. Growing up in Banaras, India, she has been very fortunate to learn from some of the world’s most renowned and respected teachers and takes pride in her heritage and feels honored to pass it on to the next generation.

She is member of Board of Directors at Council for Ayurveda research (CAR), USA and a member of membership committee at NAMA. She is faculty at Kerala Ayurveda Academy, USA. And is associated with various Ayurveda schools and organizations across the USA and India.

She is a published author of two Ayurveda books on women’s health. Her passion and love for Ayurveda fuels her vision for the development and growth of Ayurveda in the Western word, including creating and implementing high quality education and training programs as well as practicing various aspects of Ayurveda for optimal health and wellbeing. Her strength is her in- depth knowledge of Ayurveda which she loves to simplify and personalizes for everyone to practice. She brings her more than 30 years of experience to her practice and listens with patience and guides with compassion. She believes that everyone can create a better and healthy tomorrow while living a mindful life of balance and joy today.

Troy Pyles, AHC, E-RYT 200, MSAIM

Vice President

Troy is certified as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and attended Maharishi International University and received a Master of Science in Maharishi Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine. He is also a Registered Yoga Teacher with certifications in Yin Yoga and Teaching Yoga for Seniors. As a cancer survivor, Troy found a path to wellness using Ayurvedic lifestyle practices, yoga, Reiki, and complementary/alternative therapies.

As a full-time engineer in a manufacturing environment, Troy understands the everyday challenges of finding balance alongside the stresses of modern life. He enjoys teaching pranayama, yoga and mindfulness “off the mat” and feels that they should be applied in a practical way as part of everyday life.

Troy served for 10 years as Treasurer and Steering Committee Member, helping to establish the non-profit Buckeye Clinic, a Maternal Health Clinic in South Sudan. He is also a member of NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association).

Eszter Gozon, LMT, AHC, RYT 200, MSAIM

Treasurer

Eszter is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Ohio, a Registered Yoga Teacher and an Ayurvedic Health Consultant. She has certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy, Ayurvedic Massage, Ayurvedic Herbal Body Therapies, Prenatal Yoga and Reiki. Eszter attended Maharishi International University and received a Master of Science in Maharishi Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.

Eszter left a career in manufacturing to grow a holistic practice with her husband, educating on Ayurvedic lifestyle and nutrition, self-care practices and conscious living. Alongside her business, Pranamyra, Eszter also teaches Neuromuscular Therapy at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine, where she also works as a Licensed Massage Therapist in the clinic.

She served for 10 years as Secretary for the non-profit Buckeye Clinic, a Maternal Health Clinic in South Sudan. She is also a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals) and NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association). 

Zahir Sutarwala, MSAIM

Secretary

Zahir comes from a background of varied healing modalities of Pranic Healing, aromatherapy, and massage therapy. He attended Maharishi International University and received a Master of Science in Maharishi Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.

Also, a member of the Student Subcommittee of National Ayurvedic Medical Association he is excited to help raise awareness of Ayurveda and enjoys being connected to a community.

In his spare time, he loves dancing, traveling, olfactory exploration, learning new languages, trying new foods, and experimenting in the kitchen. A Certified Chinese Tea Master, he finds solace in a cup of tea.

Juan Mosquera, B.S., LMT

Since 2009, Juan has been on a inward journey of grounding himself in meditative, yoga and healing practices and has made it his life’s mission to spread love and joy through his practices. 

In 2012, he became a certified Meditation Instructor through the Art of Living Foundation, and has facilitated meditations, classes and weekend workshops for thousands of people in search of peace of mind.  

In 2018, he became certified through Sri Sri Ayurveda in Marma Chikitsa and Introductory Panchakarma Massage Therapies. 

In 2020, he completed a 750 hr program to become an LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) and begin offering additional therapeutic modalities including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy. License # 33.025121 

Betty Brown

Betty is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, receiving her training from California College Of Ayurveda and is the owner of B Well Ayurveda Health Coach, LLC.

She has trained and received certificates in meditation training, Reki Level 2, and Heart Centered Hypnotherapy. Betty is also an experienced RN of 18 years, with a BS in Nursing from the University of Minnesota.

With Betty’s understanding of allopathic medicine and Ayurveda, along with her passion for cooking, she supports clients with integrated wellness coaching. Betty is a member of NAMA and currently pursuing her 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Jeannie Faulkner, M.S., M.Ed., LMT., E-RYT 200, MSAIM

Jeannie Faulkner is a licensed massage therapist, registered yoga teacher, education provider for NCBTMB and YACEP and certified Ayurveda therapist with a Master’s degree in Education from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Ayurveda and Integrative Health from Maharishi International University.

​She embraces the philosophy that we all have the innate ability to heal our emotional, physical and spiritual bodies through our connection with the natural world and through a deeper understanding of our own nature, we can bring balance to our lives. The role of the practitioner is to be present and allow this awareness to become fully embodied for true healing.
